# megamono database

Syntax, options, and usage for the database command.

Create a named database project using Prisma or Drizzle, or connect an existing schema to your workspace tasks.

## Plan the database project

```sh
megamono add database primary --dry-run
```

Choose your adapter and review the schema location. Adding a database project does not provision a server or apply migrations. See [database options](/docs/generators/database) for adopting and moving an existing schema.
